Help, Remove isolating valve fitted to cistern fill in valve

i think i did it from right ...but..hmm...will check again ..quite possible fitter has fitted very tight...

last option is to cut through the pipe as close to lock nut..

btw..humming noise coming from valve while filling could there be any other fix instead of replacing the valve with a new one?

finally managed to change the fill valve and humming sound is stopped.
