Hi, looking for a little help setting up the parameters on the weather comp on a Viessmann 200-W BOILER. I appreciate there will be some trial and error with the process, so I am really just looking for some hints and tips, base setting to start with etc.

The house is a Victorian, stone built property, minimal insulation, with a mixture of single and double glazing.

The comp curve, I currently have set at 1.6, not sure where to go from there.......

Thanks for the help!

I would raise that to about 2 or even higher....is this the latest version of the vitotronic 200

I am in London and find curves are fine at about 1.4-1.8, but the further north you are the higher the heating demand...

the other thing to do is raise the set back temperature to about 6c below the set point...

and finally make sure the timings reflect your life style...

thats pretty much all you need to do..I take it that this is the only controller you have?

great, thanks, will up the value as you suggest. I have the setback at around 6 or 7 degrees lower. Yes we have only the one controller so effectively no internal stat and the boiler relies on the correct curve if I understand correctly.
