I'm sanding the steps of my stairs with the view of staining them and then varnishing them.
Got the paint off using a hot air gun and have now tried numerous ways of sanding the wood back to clean wood.
Orbital sander takes ages and that's using "green" resinbond sandpaper.
Had better success with a wire brush attachment for my power drill but still takes ages.
What is the best way to sand the wood?
