Help!
I have just bought a new shower identical to the shower i had so i would not have any problems, shower maker informed that the shower is the same spec and design so no problems there i thought.

problem is they have moved the innerds for the hot and cold supply which makes my fittings a finger nails lengh too short and the supplied speed fit 90 angle will not reach.
I thought that a speed fit join would be the resolve but that is too big to fit inside of the unit.

WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW, IS THERE ANY ONE WHO CAN ADVISE OF A SPEED FIT PIPE JOIN THAT USES SOLVENT, LIKE A SLEAVE?
MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE

Usually end up using a compression elbow in similar cases. Dont forget to fit a pipe sleeve according to the make of pipe you are using assuming of course you are connecting to plastic pipe.
I have come across what you asking about or at least similar but only seen it in industrial applications

can you not extend the pipe using a yorkshire (solder ring) coupler. Soldering these is not difficult. Protect the wall behind with a damp heat mat.

If the job is really tight, a soldered copper elbow can be removed by heating until the solder melts. The pipe stub can be cleaned with wire wool.

Q: can you not extend the pipe using a yorkshire (solder ring) coupler.
the shower water in valve is plastic.

what i realy need is a longer right angle feed.( speed fit type supplied with most showers)

Ill contact other shower makers tommorow hoping that they do a longer pipe feed.

all i need is a coupler that is 15mm and solvent weld oh and short

SOlvent weld is generally only for waste pipes, not mains or domestic water. There are some funny makes but hardly seen.

Suggest you use compression fitting instead of pushfit.

No...... Speedfit® is a pushfit system and as such it does not connect in a solvent weld manner
