Help to calculate quantity of sand and cement please

I want to use 20 450mm x 450mm paving slabs as stepping stones on a foot traffic garden path. I have prepared the base with compacted hoggin and now need to calculate the mortar bed for the slabs.

I would like to have a 25mm full bed under each slab and haunch up the sides a little. Can anyone advise as to the quantity of sand and cement I will need please?

Am I correct to assume I need sharp sand and a ration of 4:1 is required?

8 bags of 25kg of grit sand. 2 bags of cement. 6:1 is fine.
