got some used upvc french doors for a workshop/office im building at the back of my house. . Arriived today and im very worried about the security. They havnt come with the standard 2 handle keyed locks but rather a single internal tilt and slide patio handle with a small key (pictured). can i replace this with a more substantial lock that can be locked from the outside?

That's a normal 'espag' window handle which will probably mean it only has a window type locking mech fitted not a multipoint door lock, wtf has happened there? More pictures needed of the locking system but that looks like big windows not french doors, I'm assuming there's not even a handle outside?

Hi thanks for your reply. Ive made a complaint to ebay as he advertised them as doors. He is still insisting they are french doors!

Sorry can't make anything out with those pics, need better light. A door would have a bigger handle and be a 'lever/lever' set up with a euro cylinder lock, door handles also rest at the horizontal position and roughly only pull down 45° and are sprung, window handles rest vertically and turn through 90° and aren't sprung
