I discovered condensation on the inside of the felt in the attic. Very bad on north side of the house, little on south side!
Its a new house, living in it 2 years. I never noticed it before but im rarely in the atttic.
The attic has insulation (pumped type). Theres air vents in the eaves/gutters but I feel this isnt providing enough ventalation.
I checked the ensiute shower fan, this is connected correctly and has a tube directing moisture to the air vents!
Ive had a stairs put into the attic this week and want to eventually floor the attic space.
The condensation is worrying me because the joists are getting damp & the insulation could be losing its effectiveness!
Im thinking about having air vent tiles put in! Cant think of any other solution?
