I hadn't cottoned on to the fact that you were thinking of a wireless stat.
So, yes you can install the receiver in the kitchen, where the Danfoss is, though make sure you follow the installation instructions about location relative to the boiler. It would be a good idea to check that the signal is OK before fixing the receiver to the wall.
Would you be able to have a quick look at the wiring diagrams I posted and see if it's likely to be an easy switch over?
I'm also struggling to figure out where the thermostat would go?
Obviously the bathroom and the kitchen are a no-no, but that then leaves the choice of the living room or the dining room.
We don't have a hallway as such, the stairs run in between the 2 rooms and there is no radiator at the top or the bottom of the stairs so it never really heats up - would that mean having the thermostat there would also be a bad idea?
