Been having problems with our shower for years. But we have just had a new bathroom fitted and we had hoped that the cold shower would go away.
We have a Baxi Ecco 80 boiler in a three bed cottage. 8 Rads & 1 Towel Rail.
The hot water to the bathroom sink and bath are fine, nice and warm/hot. You need to run the cold & hot for a bath.
But the shower fed from the same pipes is no where near hot enough.
To further complicate issues, the original mixer in the old bathroom was the same and was a replacement for this mixer when it packed in.
Started to think there is a gremlin in the wall that freezes the water to the shower.
So the question is.... any way to get the shower hotter so that you have to turn the temp down????
