Can you give me some advice on how best to finish this piece of plastering?
As you can see on the pics below I'm trying to finish above a window. The window is within a recess and the top of the recess is a wooden board.
I thought about using an angle bead to get a nice edge but don't think this will work due to the fact the top of recess is wood and doesn't need plastering. In the end I tacked the piece of wood at the bottom and was going to plaster to this but now not sure this is the right approach.
The wood is flush with the wall so I could just plaster to the wood? But then not sure what the finish would look like.
Does anyone have any advice?
