Help with heating required...

I have just moved into a new house and have some questions which I am hoping for help with.

1) The central heating Boiler is fitted in the garage and in cold weather the frost thermostat kicks in and the heating stays on until the garage is warm. As the garage is poorly insulated and only heated by the pipes/boiler it takes forever and wastes alot of fuel. Is a Pipe Stat the answer? If so is this wired via the existing Frost Stat?

2) We have a baby on the way and I was thinking of getting a Honeywell Wireless thermostat. My boiler is a Potterton Suprima 60L (not a combi)... does anyone know of a wireless stat that works with said boiler for HW/CH?

Yes that will work fine.

Remember to enable the advanced features that are switched off by default.

Any wireless stat will work with Suprima, even a £35 Salus !
