I have a french door that is not sealing properly at the top when I close it and lift the handle - I get a heck of a draught thru at the top but its OK at the bottom.

This is the hinge

There appears to be a hex socket top and bottom plus that screw you can see.

Can the door be tipped back in the frame a little (ie parallel to the directin you'd walk thru the doorway) at the top to help the rubber seal squish down fully when closed?

eta it would need tipping back in the frame by about 2-3mm I reckon

Yes its possible, the hex underneath is basically a bolt that screws up and pushes the hinge pin up lifting the door with it

The top hex will will move the pin in and out (the adjustment you want) but be carefull as it is plastic and very easy to round the hex, sometimes its easier to lift the door up off its hinges and turn the pins manually then drop the door back on but if your on your own and if the doors heavy it can be a bit tricky to line 3 pins up, like trying to dock the space shuttle

Thanks. Does the door have to come right off or can I prop it up to take some weight off of it?

The door needs to come right off if you decide to turn the pins manually but not if you choose to use an allen key from above, if you mean lifting the door slightly to ease the pressure on the pins with the allen key approach then probably but only slightly
