Any learned peeps on here would be appreciated :)

"Simplify 5 p squared (3p-2d)"

(the "squared" is the superscript 2, but I don't know how to write it on the phone!)

I've not done maths in a long time, and am having a brain-f@rt to boot!

But I don't understand the (3p-2d). What's that about?

I cheated.

Everything is on Google.

I wonder if he means simplify "5p^2 x (3p-2d)" ?

But that in itself seems simplified, otherwise it would be (15p^3 - 10dp^2) or
has maths changed in the last few years?

Perhaps the question was badly-written and it should be the other way round, ie simplify 15p^3 - 10dp^2 ? Dunno?????????
