Im replacing my honeywell 7100 with 6300 and unsure about wiring!
There are more cables into terminals at the rear of 7100 than 6300.
There is a brief description sayin for eg

7100 terminals 6300 terminals

1---------------------------------->3
2---------------------------------->5
3----------------------------------> not connected

etc

What do i do with the cables that are in the terminal of the 7100 unit that dont have to be connected?

Hope this makes some sort of sense?

Probably - the book shows 3 SPARE terminals, apart from 2 commons, which would be Lives, on 3 and 6.

is the old programmer being used as the wiring centre?

sorry wilhelm, what do you mean? The old one is being replaced and theres loads of cables in the existing rear plate, also being replaced. Just that some cables in the old back plate that are connected to terminals, on the new plate dont have to be connected, so unsure what to do with these cables.
