Hello, I have a Baxi Duo-Tec 24GA witted with a Honeywell T6360b room stat.
I wish to replace the Honeywell with a Danfoss TP500.
The Honeywell is currently connected with 4 wires, Brown to terminal 1, Grey with a blue sleeve to terminal 2, Dk.brown with a brown sleeve to terminal 3, and the earth to earth.
As the Danfoss only requires only 2 wires, which 2 do I use?.
Can any one advise please.
Thanks

Do you mean black with a brown sleeve? You also describe brown, and grey with a blue sleeve, both in terminal 2. Are you sure?

Hi, thanks for the reply.....guess my dyslexic fingers are working again!!
It should have read , terminal(t1) 1 = brown, T2= grey, t3 is dark brown/ black.
Though I realise now its is black, as the cable to the thermostat is 3 core & earth.
Cheers.

1 and 3 are the switch terminals, so brown and black into the new tp5000 switch terminals.

Terminate grey sleeved blue (neutral) into a small connector block.

Terminate earth into another small connector block or the earth parking terminal if there is one.

Cheers mogget, so its brown to "com", & black to n/o. And choccy block the grey & earth.
Sounds easy enough!!, at least I don't need to do anything at the boiler end!.
I'll give it a go.......if the lights go out in Southend....that may well be me!!Ha.
Cheers again

If you have a programmer, don't forget to leave the heating on continuous when you have the new Danfoss in.
