Sorry just to confirm L&N I’ll need to add a new Flex cable to provide the he heat link as the ones coming out from 1,2,3 from boiler mate seem to also supply the boiler.

Yes. the Heat link N&L needs to be connected to the mains supply to provide the Heat link with operating power (in the same way the boiler needs operating power) so you will need wires to do this. ;) If you like, you can re-use the old thermostat cable, once it's been disconnected of course.

The earth connection will also be required for the earth terminal just left of T1 & T2
