Help with loft hatch?

On the pic in first post the outside exterior walls are to the left bottom and top and the neighbours wall to the right. I don't think any of the internal walls are supporting the main beams (4x2).

New photo's..Hope these help..

The next one is where it goes to the outside wall to the left and to the top of the drawing..

The next one is where it goes to the outside wall to the right of the drawing..

The next is the stucture of the H looking frame.

okay, on the left side of the ceiling joist, run another joist and screw it together the same length and on the right run a new joist where the red dotted line is past approx 1 metre and screw it to the side where the double joists is and run it back as long a possible or to the nearest bearing wall or wallplate and put in double trimmer for the short run between the joist you will have put in for your opening. This is the safest way for the diy'er to as you haven't touch any of the roof structure.

Thanks for the advice but i am a little confused with your guide on what to put where. I have made another diagram but with a little more idea on how it looks. Hopefully this makes more sense. There are more joists running from top to bottom but i have just included a few to show the layout.

Could you please edit this pic and show me where to put things?

Double-click on piccy

The right grey timber, I assuming is resting on the wall because of the other 2 joists overlap? If it is, then the left grey timber neither go the whole length only to the bearing wall and screw it to existing joists and the same as the right grey timber then put in the double trimmer joist between the 2 joist. The bottom of the double trimmer which should go under the ceiling binder according to your drawing, I did it so you could see it

Thanks again masona, the edited pic makes a lot more sense to me. Just one point though about the double trimmer joist between the 2 joist does this have to go right up to the grey joists or just upto where the red dotted line is? Or do these actually go on top of the joists at the same height as the 4x2 beams?

just up to the red dotted line or to the new grey extra joist on the same level as ex-ceiling joists
