Woke up to a freezing cold house this morning.

My Worcester boiler has a fast flashing red light on the tap indicator.

Manual says Air Flow Fault (RSF) what can I do to fix it.

Any help much appreciated.

Can you reset the boiler and try again? Not sure about Worcester but most combis will have a reset button, or you turn off the main switch for a few seconds. The boiler should then have another go at lighting up, possibly successfully. The problem might be related to the very cold air.

Tried that.

But still nothing.

Something was making a bit of a slight dry grinding noise earlier in the day.

Probably the fan, if you now have a an air flow fault. Replacing the fan is a Corgi job really, unless you're competent to carry out such work.

I am not totally sure of your exact model but a similar one has a low water pressure switch. If this is not activated then it gives the fan light although its actually the LP switch at fault.

This is NOT mentioned in the book !!!

Check the system pressure is set to 1.5 bar.

It was the fan.

Just touched it and it started to spin again.

Someone will come and fix but at least I can have a wash now.

Thanks for you time peeps.
