hi. im in a fix.
i have a glowworm combi electronic. hot water comes out of kitchen sink which is next to boiler. 1 bed flat. however there is no hot water from b/room sink (non mixer ) or shower!!! i had builders in. at first i thought it was crossed cold/hot pipe. however when i run hot tap in kitchen then run hot tap in b/room a little bit of residue hot water will come out of b/room tap. this tells me pipes are fine. water flow is fine. i had two guys come. theys said it boiler , no explanation!!! how can boiler switch on for one tap and not the others?guys says i need a new boiler too. pls help. thanks

new shower yes. but how would that affect b.room sink ? as i said if i run hot tap on kitchen sink , turn off then run b/room therses the remaining hot water in there so the pipes arent mixed up and two gas guys have come and said boiler needs replacing. flat was empty for a while before builders. all they done is just swapped over sink, bath and shower

I suspect shower non return valves aint working and the hot water in bathroom is being backfedfrom the cold in the shower.
Can you isolate the supplies to shower?
One thing for sure is that your boiler hasnt got a clue where the hot water in needed or cares, but reliably works at the kitchin tap, so your boiler is fine!

Turn off the Cold Water inlet valve at the Boiler, then open the hot tap in the bathroom, No Water should flow, if it does it indicates that there is a missing or faulty non-return valve in your new shower

thanks but the bath taps are also not working. can it be that all three, shower, b/room sink and b/room taps non return not working??i would just like to know one thing. seen as the kitchen sink hot tap is working the boiler is fine? i dont understand why 2 gas guys says its boiler and needs new boiler !!

coz they either don`t know wat the problem is or are just trying to blag you and make some money on a boiler swop job...............

You will have the same problem with all the taps in the bathroom. Trust me.
If you just swap the boiler you will have the same problem and a lot less money.
Isolate the shower and see what happens!
Or isolate the cold going to the bathroom and see what happens!
