I’ve bought a secondhand Henry for spares but thought I’d check it out as it looks almost brand-new trips power when you turn it on, hear the motor just spin down, slight smell of burning.
Checked wiring and switch is all okay, Motor brushes in fine condition about 25mm , guessing the motor is fuuucked?

Dismantle the lot, clean it thoroughly and refit.
Those machines have 9 lives.

Try some contact cleaner all over.
Let it dry then reassemble and try.
If there's nothing obviously wrong, you might get lucky or as you said, the motor is dead.

Should have checked the label , it’s a 110v, anyone want to buy a site vacuum?
