Hi

i have a hep20 shut off valve in my bathroom with some copper tube coming out of it connecting to a flexible tap connector which connects to the cistern, we have discovered a leak coming from the valve i have replaces the tap connector but it looks like the water is coming out of the valve the bottom of the valve is built into the floor tiles so i cant change it, is there a way of just changing the top of the valve or something i can put round it to stop the leak?

any help would be great thankyou

dave

Are you sure it is coming from the valve? Did you make sure there was a fibre washer on the tap connector?

Yes I've changed the tap connector and it's still leaking and can see water coming from the tap of the valve

I've had this before where you think it's the isolator below.

Get some tissue and dry the pipe and valve completely, and then put some dry tissue above the valve and have a look after a few seconds, if the valve is still wet but the tissue dry then yes it's the valve.

The tap conector is the most likely though
