I have a new radiator to fit at the end of this hep20 connector (there is obviously a second one out of shot of my photo !)

The builder used this push fit to go from copper down to plastic as you can see, and then at the radiator end there is copper in the wall so additional push fits in the ceiling that I can’t get to
As these connectors have been in place for 15 years, I already have the floor up and as mentioned, I need to do some copper pipework at the far end for the new radiator, I’m therefore contemplating replacing these for the sake of a few quid
Can anyone confirm please whether these hep20 connectors have teeth inside along with a rubber seal/washer similar to the John guest push fits that I am more familiar with and thus will there be any damage to the plastic pipe you can see when I remove them , and can I simply replace with an exact Hep20, John Guest or any other equivalent or will the plastic pipe be damaged and a section need to be replaced, please ?
To put it another way, how many times can you connect to plastic pipes using push fit?
I just see it as an opportunity considering as mentioned these connectors have been under the floor for 15 years and even though likely will last another 15 years it just seems like too good an opportunity to miss to replace when I’m going to have to drain the central heating anyway to do my pipework and know that these legs are both bone dry
Many thanks in advance for any replies
