Morning all,
I'm in the process of fitting new bathroom basin & I need to fit a Hepvo valve (long pipe run). Problem is, its a semi pedestal basin & the Hepvo wont fit underneath, space in the wall is too small to fit it in there - instead of being directly attached to the basin can I put it around 50 - 60cm from the basin in the pipe run to the stack? I can hide it behind the bath panel then where it cant be seen & can be removed if necessary. If so, do I need to fit a normal bottle trap under the basin?

or the pipework will pong after a few years with soap deposits
