Customer complaining his 50w GU10's keep blowing & 1 not working when he replaces the bulb. This is what I found.

Checked the other 15 & they all were covered with insulation. Also whoever wired the flat had put all the wiring through the ceiling joists along the centre of the hallway so when they fitted the downlights the wires were basically resting on top.

that is one slightly overheated downlighter LoL The aluminium has even warped with the heat by the looks of it

Lucky his house never burned down
