Hi ,
I did post this a little while ago in plumbing and heating, but didn't get much of a response. I have a couple of questions.

1. Do you have to have any qualifications/experience to take the course ?
2. The courses I have looked at on the hetas site are 1 /2/3 day courses. These surely are not enough to be HETAS registered surely?

All help gratefully received.

Hi
The HETAS course is an excellent course for solid fuel maintenance and installation. I would recommend that you have a good background in the solid fuel side of buildings like chimney sweep, fireplace builder / installer etc. Contact HETAS for more info they will be only to glad to help.
cheers

I did wonder about that. Cheers buddy. I might see if I can do some free work experience with a sweep.
