I have had new windows installed, all with very ugly trickle vents. I am going to install a PIV and remove some of the trickle vents.
I can fill them with silicone or something but then I want to hide the mess. I assumed I would find some kind of blanking plate, but no luck.
Any suggestions?

Depending on how air tight your house is you might want to keep the trickle vents when the PIV is installed. The PIV will bring in outside air but the moisture laden inside air still needs a route out of the house, trickle vents can provide that route out.
