Can any body tell me how to cut in on a high stairwell wall? I can't reach all points when using a ladder and the stairs were too steep to take my platform ladder. Any ideas???

Oh dear, impossible without seeing it..Being v.tall Ive never come accross one I couldnt reach somehow...Sorry

ladder up into the "well" and a couple of planks across to top of stars
Then another ladder off the planks.
Planks on top of each other, not side by side.Lashed to stairwell ladder which can be lashed to balustrade with a length of timber (2x2) to steady it. That`s how scaffold was done before they invented pole clips. Wooden poles and ropes. Chinese still do it with bamboo apparently
