Hitachi second fix gun problem.

Hi, I bought one of these a while ago but have'nt used it much until now.
It drives one or two brads then needs a bump with my hand to fire another one or two. Everything seems to be working - battery, gas, etc.
Can anyone come up with any suggestions please (it's out of guarantee).

I know you have the hitachi but paslodes always respond well to a quick clean a service, i would try that as suggested

Thanks guys, I've been thinking of loose connections etc and seem to have missed the very obvious to start with.
