Why has it taken 20 odd years to sort this out

it isnt sorted out and never can be.

turns out the reason why I had to have a blood transfusion, so they tell me,
apparently I was three months post operative, from having a major operation for co-rectal cancer.
they apparently removed my rectum, part of my colon, and had to remove part of my bladder.

seems that as a result of all the radiation treatment Id had, the blood count could drop.

jeeze apparently i was only on the slab for 8 hours,
just a flesh wound really
