Hive Installation Help

Hi,

Is anyone able to help me with the installation of a new Hive receiver. An explanation of which wires go where would be helpful

If you are just exchanging the existing Honeywell BDR room thermostat thermostat receiver for a Single Channel Hive, then:

All wires in BDR N....Hive (N)

All wires in BDR L & L....Hive (L)

Wire in BDR A....Hive 'Com' terminal (1)

Wire in BDR B....Hive 'Heating on' terminal (3)

IMPORTANT NOTE: The above is only applicable for a combi boiler where there isn't any stored hot water (aka hot water cylinder) If you do have a hot water cylinder, then you would need the dual channel hive and the installation is completely different. The Hive replaces the programmer and not the room thermostat.
