Hive Installation Help

Hi Guys,

New to this, so please be gentle

I have just been given a Hive Active Heating system, single channel for a Combi Boiler and need some help with the installation.

My current setup is a Potterton Promax Combi Boiler, which is connected to the mains via a fused spare. Installed in the fascia of the boiler is a Salus RXBC605 Wireless Controller. The thermostat is wireless and is a Salus RT500 RF. There are no other wires connected to the system.

Is there a module that could directly replace the Salus receiver with a Hive compatible module, or is it possible to pair the Hive Thermostat with the Salus receiver?

So after a lot of research, it appears that there is no hive module to replace the Salus receiver. I did, however, find a post which provided all the information I needed to get Hive working with my boiler:
