    Hi

I'm hoping to replace my Salus RT500RF with a hive 2 I recently bought (single channel receiver). Boiler is an Ideal Pro Exclusive 30.

Can anyone advise if it is a straight swap? I.e. the Salus unit has 4 wires:

    - Live
    - Neutral
    - COMM
    - NO

Do I just wire them into the 'hive' as per the below:

    - Live to 'L'
    - Neutral to 'N'
    - COMM to '1'
    - NO to '3'

Any clarification would be a big help. I've added a pic of the current wiring to the salus.

    Thanks

    Hi there!

Did you ever get an answer RE this from another source? I have hoping to make the exact same change (but with a slightly different boiler- Viessmann Vitodens 100-W).

I got a plumber to come in and do it. A lot safer.
