After various pairs, re sets & batteries etc Im certain my wireless Salus is dead. It goes blank most times when you touch it & will not connect to the boiler.
After reading so many negatives about the Salus, Im considering swapping to a basic Hive stat.
As the Salus does not seem to have wires that connect where the Hive connects, do I have to remove the reciever part on the boiler?

Yes remove, or set to manual if you can. Removing the cover on that boiler needs safety checking afterwards as it forms part of the combustion circuit/process.

Thank you.
So if I just turn the Salus off on the main panel on the boiler, I wont have to remove it & get some sort of blanking panel?
I can then just connet the Hive?

Yes, you should just be able to connect the Hive.
