Hi all,

I am looking to replace my Drayton with Hive on my Oil fired Combi boiler. There are no thermostats so can I just wire it up like for like as per the picture?

You don't state the model of the Drayton programmer you have, But the wiring suggests that you have a Y-Plan system with a 3-Port motorised valve. In which case, a dual channel version of Hive would be a straight swap.

Hi there, sorry it’s a Drayton LP722

From a wiring point of view it doesn't matter.

The 5 and 7 refer to the programmers internal functions. The LP522 offers different settings for weekdays and weekends, and the LP722 offers different settings for each of the day of the week.
