Just bought a belling built-in oven, but the instructions say to use HO5 V V-F cable as the mains lead of a minimum of 1.5mm2. I do electrics and would normally use a 3 core 2.5mm2 heat resisant flex on an oven of just under 3kw. Is this HO5 V V-F just a fancy spec for the same thing.

As you can see, HO5 V V-F is only rated at 60°C
Butyl and PVC heat resistant cables (3092Y eg) are good for 85°C so you'll be OK with those.
