Hey folks, hope you are all enjoy the festive break and too much food!
I have a light bit of DIY on the cards between now and the new year. I am faking up the creaky floorboards in my bedroom and rescrewing.
Whilst they are up I am going to put rwa45 rock wool slabs between the joists to try and quiten things somewhat.
Should I put some batten between the joists to hold it in place or do you think the friction fit will be enough.
Also wondering if vapour or breather membrane is required (probably not?). House is typical brick 1930s with floorboards laid on joists.
Cheers
Larry
