What size hole do you generally core the hole for a toilet waste so it accepts the collar of the waste fitting. The same for a 40mm waste pipe, so it attempts the collar of the fitting. Thanks

Are you talking about the soil pipe push fit or solvent weld socket? Both are quite different
Same again, are you talking about the female end of a fitting
All you need to do it measure their diameter? A solvent weld pipe is 43mm and the diameter of the fittings are around 48mm but you'd want the hole a little larger to give some wiggle room.
