Hole in new carpet, shall i demand a complete replacement?

So..... the rep came this morning, saw the hole and no questions said they will replace it. Result!

However they cant do it this side of xmas which is a real bummer. We have loads of furniture coming for that room before xmas and cant really settle in.

Just goes to show not all firms are bad I had a 3 1/2 year old Toshiba TV.
Toshiba gave the £200 part free of charge.
