Home page problem

When I use Internet Explorer to get onto the net the MSN home page does not appear. Iget a message saying the directory listing is denied and the Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed. It doesn't stop me accessing web sites as I just go in via favourites. Does anyone have an answer please? I use XP Home by the way.

have you tried manually resetting your home page? have you run a spyware scan?

Thanks for the reply. I have done a spyware scan and the problem appears to have gone away.
