Home Base Othello bath

Am trying to fit a waste pipe to the Othello bath from Homebase for a customer.

This bath is double skinned and come with the waste and overflow ready fitted; these are viewable from below via a 150mm hole.

Has any one fitted this to a flat floor (not on a plinth) if so, how did you do it.

Thanks in advance.

Tim

Hi Tim,
Looking at a pic of the bath I would think you have to pre-pipe the waste, attach it to the bath and drop in with the help of someone, or the top part of the waste can be fitted after the pre-piping is done and after the bath has been lowered onto the bottom half of the assembly. Some good bath seal would help as it looks like a similar idea to a macalpine shower trap, prefit tray/bath on top and screw grating in.Difficult with little into fron homebase site but thats what I would try.

Donald

ps if it is on a suspended floor you could crawl underneath to attach the waste.
