The overflow in my bath is old and leaking. It goes directly out through the wall from the bath and not like the newer waste and overflow fittings that use the same waste pipe. I got hold of the 1and1/2 inch pipe, but now I need the fitting to secure it to the overflow hole in the bath. Any suggestions? :?

Can you not change your overflow and bath waste for a modern one where there is a pipe linking the overflow into the bath waste ? Cost around £5 :)

I dont think the bath is high enough of the floor to fit the trap and waste pipes into. And I cant go into the floor to get more depth.

Will not a shallow bath trap do it as they are only a few inches high :o
You must have a trap fitted below your bath.
Have a look and tell us what you have got as the bath water has to go somewhere

I will give that a try. If it doen's work I will let you know. Thanks for your help.

i managed to get the new style of waste/overflow in using a shallow p-connector. Had to fill the hole in the wall where the old overflow use to fo through though.

thanks for your help.
