When testing my new bath i notced a leak comming from the overflow pipe. There is a small hole under 1mm on one of the ribs.

Due to the angle of the overflow pipe - its quite long - water enters this pipe when draining he bath/having a shower. If I clip the pipe up so the angle is greater water does not enter and not issue - the issue will only be when the bath overflows.

This is part of a bath waste-filler tap and the pipe is fixed/glued to the filler. It will be a nightmare to remove to to access restrictions from the battons put on the wall to help secure the bath sides.

Can i fix this hole? There is not pressure on this pipe - its just a overflow? some 2 part epoxy? some silicon round the rib?

Thanks

Fernox LS X and ptfe tape - make a bandage. Paste first, then tape then more paste.
