better quality glow plugs usually cost around £8 each Bosch are certainly good, not sure what sized socket you need, but please buy a hexagon socket..not a bi-hex.

The glow plug light staying on does not necessarily mean the glow plugs are goosed! you need the faults read with a scan tool.

have a look on ebay, plenty of denso stuff on there. Champion is ok but i would fit better if it were mine.
Think the plug size is 10mm but not sure on the electrical nut though

lol...at £80 for a set of 4....what a rip off..think ill get the champions...anyway, seemed all fine since then, no light came up, car started and drove finr...until i was stuck in traffic, all of a sudden the engine cut out...coil light came on and stayed on, what a nightmare...eventually after i had waited around 15 minutes, the car started, coil light still came on and stayed on all the way home...wonder if AA parts and labour cover covers glow plugs..?...

Seriously, I doubt if there is a fault with your glowplugs - once the engine is going they aren't needed anyway and certainly wouldn't cause the engine to cut.
On several makes of vehicle the glow light is connected into the management system, and its telling you there's another fault elsewhere.
Sorry but I couldn't hazard a guess of where to look, but its time for the fault codes to be read.
John :)

ta mate..i do have another issue, when i put my foot down the car goes into limp mode, cant rev above 2500 rev...speed limited, very slow pick up..been reading about this on honda forums, all point to a faulty turbo, after leaving the car off for a little while normal power is restored until i put my foot down again then it happens...no engine manage, ent light comes up...have had the engine codes read, looks like a trip to honda dealers...i have had previous experience regarding these back street mechanics who have the state of the art diagnostic equipment but fail to find the problem, have spent £100 already on a boost pressure sensor that was suggested by a mechanic that was recommended who was a diesel specialist but that didnt fix the problem...ive got no choice but to go to honda, dreading the fact that they are gonna rip me off..
