Hi,

We have a Worcester Bosch Greenstar HE27 System Boiler used for central heating and hot water (hot water stored in a Megaflow cylinder). The entire system is less than 18 months old.

Yesterday, we noticed the central heating did not come on during the day although we had plenty of hot water. On closer inspection, I discovered that the boiler was firing up OK for hot water but not for central heating. The thermostat is on high, and the central heating is continuously switched on at the programmer/timer switch.

I have been advsied by Worcester Bosch, the problem may lie with the Honeywell 2 port Motorised Valve. They suspect the motorised head needs to be changed.

Question. Is this something easy to do?

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks

It's a straightforward job, two screws hold the head to the body, and there will be four wires to change. For information look here
