Hi All,

I have a 2 port Honeywell motorised valve in my central heating which was working fine up untill I powerflushed my system and now when the valve close it cause a water hammer effect (big bang noise in the pipes). The other 2 port valve in my central heating is working fine and does not cause this effect.

Do you know if there is a way to fix this problem or do I have to replace the valve?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Sometimes a (slightly) floppy pipe will do it, and a pipe clip will cure it.
