Honeywell 3-port valve, ticking...

Replaced Grundfos Pump with new Grundfos Alpha 2L

3 port valve started ticking, teeth worn.

Replaced the 'ticking' Honeywell 3 port valve with a new Honeywell 3 port valve.

The new valve, (replaced yesterday...) has just started ticking also, WTF?

Is the new pump too powerful for the valve and preventing it from opening/closing?

Am I missing something?
