Hi,
Have the above diy alarm system running fine for 4 years, windows and doors fitted the magnetic sensors and one internal PIR.
Am experiencing a very random problem, say once every couple of months, which make it difficult to isolate /prove if its a sensor.
Have the main house door and also a porch door, each on different zones.
The Alarm sets ok, and on return when openng the porch door, the internal alarm is normally heard and then open the main door and key in the alarm code.
With the error, when opening the porch door nothing is heard, opening the main door then the Siren goes off instantly.
Look on the Events log but nothing unusual is shown ?
It has happenend again today, which like the other occassions have been hot days and we have been out form 10 - 5pm.
The control unit is out of sunlight in a coolish lobby cupboard.
Know I could start the process of zone resistance checking etc but wondered if the sympton is a known problem or sounds more like a control unit fault ?
