Hi, I'm new to the forum and was wondering if anyone could shed some light...
We have a Honeywell CM907 thermostat controlling our underfloor heating system (It was already all installed when we moved in). The thermostat has been working ok (since we finally worked out how to turn the underfloor heating on at the boiler!), however the display has gradually been fading, bits of the display are not showing at all, for example you can only see half the time display. Checked the battery and this appears to be fine, even tried new batteries and no difference.
Today the 'current temp' has started to show as 0 degrees, which is obviously wrong as its about 17 degrees in the room. Does this mean the thermostat is broken? Or is there anything we can do? Of course the thing is now calling for heat constantly because it thinks we are freezing
I noticed a new Honeywell is about £75! so I'm not about to rush out and buy a new one. Any advice would be hugely appreciated.
