My wireless CM927 programmer is missing. Can I just buy a replacement programmer and will it work with the existing receiver or do I need to buy a new receiver as well?

Yes, you can get the programmer on its own. The Honeywell part no is: CMS927B1049. You have to "bind" the programmer to your existing receiver - instructions will come with the new programmer.
