Just bought this stat via the internet after information gained from here. I want to make sure I have not been fobbed of with an inferior model boxed up as the 927.

The reason I say this is the different codes on the box to those I seen on other online shops. The box says CMT927A1049 which appears to be the product code and correct. No problem there.

Then - the pack contains R6660D1041 (which is the same as all others - no problem there) and CMS927B1049 (this is what differs from other part numbers I have seen) This last code - should I be concerned

Seeking reassurance. There appears to be a few people here who know this product very well. Many thanks for any assistance.

CM927 is the "customer friendly" name for the complete package, irrespective of country.

CMT927A1049 is the Honeywell part number for the UK version (English Display/Instructions and am/pm time as default).

This is the Honeywell part no for the HC60NG Relay box with English Instructions.

CMS927B1049
Honeywell part no for the Room Unit with English Display/Instructions and am/pm time as default.

Did the item come with all literature, i.e Installation Manual and User Instructions?

If it was second hand, I would check communication between the two units - instructions in the Installation Manual. With new products the two parts are "bound" so they communicate. With a second hand there is a chance that the two parts came from separate packages, so will not communicate. But that's no problem! The Installation Instructions tell you how to "bind" the two parts together.

Thanks very much for your time that helps me to feel better. I bought it new online for about 86 pounds. It came with all instructions and I hope its not second hand (just good price), however good to know about binding. Many thanks.

Could someone tell me which radiator should not have a TRV with this wireless stat?. Is it the room where the receiver is placed or the room where the controller will be placed. I know it is probably obvious but I need to check.

should be easy for someone :) many thanks

The room which has the actual thermostat should not have a TRV, if there is a TRV in the room where you want the thermostat remove the head or turn it up to max.

Thanks David, I know this is probably obvious but the Honeywell stat referred to in this forum has 2 Parts to it (receiver and controller) in 2 different rooms. Which part is considered the thermostat for the purpose of knowing which rad to keep the TRV off.

sorry if im not making myself clear or it is obvious but no to me yet, thanks
